Fort de Buoux and the Vallon de l’Aiguebrun

A small haven of very authentic and wild nature, the Vallon de l’Aiguebrun is a unique place where time seems to stand still.

As a family, you can embark on a stroll along the river. Swimming is prohibited, but the atmosphere is cool, and the place is very pleasant on hot summer days.
Both young and old will enjoy playing explorers and navigating sometimes “risky” paths amid imposing cliffs.

The Vallon de l’Aiguebrun also contains lovely remnants of days gone by, notably the Fort de Buoux, which overlooks the gorges from its cliff.
The open-air visit is a must and will instantly transport you to the past. The imagination of the whole family will be stimulated, and it will be easy to envision life at the fort.
For the more adventurous, a little surprise will conclude the visit beautifully, but one thing is certain: the view from the fort is one of the wildest and most beautiful in Luberon! Not to be missed!
