A must on your Lavender Route!
The “Musée de la Lavande” in the village of Coustellet is the ideal place to learn all about lavender, its varieties, cultivation and use, etc…
In addition, you can complement this visit with a detour to the Les Agnels distillery in Apt. Here, distillation takes place throughout the year, and everything will be explained to you with passion. A large shop is also present inside the estate, and you can also take a stroll around; the landscapes are breathtaking during the flowering season.
Celebrating lavender in the Luberon 🎉
To complete the picture, two major events are organized in the region during the summer. First, the Lavender Festival in Apt, traditionally held in mid-July during the Lavandin harvest. Then there’s the lavender festival in Sault, which takes place later in the year due to a delay in the harvest caused by the difference in altitude.
These two festivals are a great opportunity to meet local producers and artisans and participate in major events in the region!
